Alsager Highfields Foundation Primary School

Our aim is to deliver broad, balanced and relevant activities.  We attempt to inspire and motivate children, enabling them to be both knowledgeable and independent.  Underpinning the whole curriculum is the belief that children are expected to do their best and be courteous and considerate. Teachers set high expectations and activities are designed to inspire, interest and motivate all children. The school encourages a close home school partnership

Brereton is a Church of England Aided Primary School

With seven single age classes from Reception through to Year 6. Our smallest class has sixteen pupils and our largest has thirty. Our aim is that every child who passes through our doors will be inspired with a love of life and learning. In Reception we encourage and nurture the potential of each individual and this approach continues throughout the school to Year Six. By eleven our pupils have experienced a range of learning experiences; they are equipped to face new challenges; and we hope that they have developed skills and values that will last them a lifetime. In addition to the teaching and learning that forms our daily timetable we are also able to offer music lessons in brass, woodwind, piano and stringed instruments. The school has a choir that represents us at local events. Classes regularly visit local theatres for shows and plays. A favourite of all the children is when their class topic is enhanced by a trip or visit to bring learning to life.  We offer a wide range of extra-curricular sports through our link with the Holmes Chapel and Community District Partnership. Our children love to perform in class assemblies, in Christmas nativities or carol services, in Musical Evenings, in Summer Performances or Church Services.  If you come to our school you will be joining a new family; the Brereton family.  Our older pupils care about our younger pupils. Our School Council encourages us to support charities. Our PTA are fabulous for fundraising and enhancing the facilities that we are able to offer. St Oswald’s Church is our church; children lead services here regularly. We have a link school in Kenya, St Lwanga; a Catholic Primary School in the Rift Valley. Having this partnership helps us to understand the wider world.

We thoroughly enjoy our partnership with School Direct and look forward to welcoming more students next year. It is a pleasure to nurture those new to the teaching profession within our doors.

Excalibur Primary School

Excalibur Primary School is situated in the town of Alsager.  The school is a converter academy and part of Chancery Multi Academy Trust. We are also a member of Alsager Community Trust. The schools in Alsager work in partnership to provide the best opportunities for all children in the local community.

We aim to foster a life-long love of learning; our creative curriculum aims to deliver a twenty-first century education that will equip our children with the skills to be independent and responsible citizens.

Holmes Chapel Primary School

Holmes Chapel Primary School …where children enjoy learning, achieve their full potential and are happy and successful.

In Holmes Chapel Primary School children feel safe, cared for and enjoy their learning.  All achievements are valued and celebrated as children experience a rich, creative and challenging curriculum which enables them to fulfil their potential. They will leave school highly literate and numerate but with strong interpersonal skills.  Clear communication exists between home and school encouraging parents and carers to be partners in their child’s education. Our children become independent lifelong learners, self-motivated and confident to be responsible citizens.  All of this is achieved in a safe, attractive and stimulating environment.
We are committed to providing excellent teaching and learning, developing children’s self- confidence, resilience, imagination and creativity through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of every pupil. We are very much enjoying our work with Schools Direct to support those new to the profession in making a real difference to the lives of our children.

Pikemere School

Pikemere School caters for children from 3-11 years old. The school is a converter academy and also part of the Chancery Multi Academy Trust. Together with the other schools in Alsager, we work collaboratively to ensure that all local children have access to the best opportunities.
We are passionate about our well-researched curriculum which is delivered by an experienced team of highly committed teachers. Apart from enabling every child to fulfil their academic potential, we place great importance on the growth of the whole child through a ‘human first’ approach. We aim that each child will build confidence, develop self-reliance, learn to make decisions and develop the ability to articulate feelings and ideas. We also value the development of children’s social skills and seek to enable them to build relationships with other children and adults and to be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others.

St. Gabriels

St. Gabriel's is a voluntary aided, co-educational, one form entry Catholic Primary School  (4 - 11) years which serves St. Gabriel's Parish Alsager and St. Winefride's Parish Sandbach.

As a school we are concerned with the education of the whole child - spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, moral and emotional.  We believe that every child has an inherent value as a person and we aim to develop each child's feeling of self worth by allowing him/her to reach his/her full potential in all areas of the curriculum and by encouraging his/her own particular interests and strengths.
At St. Gabriel's we aim to create an atmosphere where the pupils have the desire to strive for excellence in all that they do.  The atmosphere is such that the children are able to develop and mature in the knowledge, love and practice of the Catholic faith.
We are committed to provide outstanding teaching and learning, developing our children’s imagination, creativity and confidence through a challenging curriculum.

Our school is an inclusive community which cares, teaches and upholds Christian standards. The children are encouraged to appreciate and respect diversity, through study of other cultures.
